Zoom integration — auto-created meetings on every booking
Oneop creates a real Zoom meeting when a booking is made, invites the guest, and auto-completes the meeting via a signature-verified webhook when it ends.
The Zoom integration removes the copy-paste step between “a meeting got booked” and “a video call exists.”
What it does
When a prospect books through your Oneop booking page, the booking can create a real Zoom meeting automatically and write a calendar event with the guest invited — no manually generated links, no wrong-link mishaps. When the call ends, Zoom’s webhook tells Oneop, and the meeting flips to completed by itself, keeping the CRM timeline accurate without anyone doing bookkeeping.
What flows, in which direction
- Outbound: meeting creation on booking; calendar event with the Zoom join link.
- Inbound: meeting-ended events that auto-complete the meeting record.
- The inbound webhook is HMAC-verified and fail-closed — without the webhook secret configured, events are rejected rather than trusted.
Setup
The deployment is configured with Zoom OAuth credentials and the webhook secret token. Booking pages then offer Zoom meeting creation as part of the booking flow; pairing with the Google Workspace calendar connection removes busy times from the offered slots.
What it does not do
- No import of your Zoom meeting history, recordings or transcripts.
- No telephony: Oneop has no calling, recording or transcription of its own, and the Zoom integration does not add any — it creates and completes meeting records.
- Booking confirmation and reminder emails to the guest are not part of this integration.
Related module and plan notes
Works with meetings and booking pages in the CRM module. Meetings attached to a contact or deal appear on that record’s timeline, so the auto-completed Zoom call shows up exactly where the deal history lives.
